The hero tied and helpless as his doom slowly approaches, struggling to get free before the pendulum descends too low, the buzzsaw begins cutting the log he’s tied to, the train approaching where he’s tied to the tracks. Not into seeing him hurt or killed, just love the bondage and suspense of the situation. He always gets rescued or escapes in time, only to find himself in some other type of bondage peril.
